Pecoro has been created using reclaimed and/or recycled materials, trying to achieve a rustic, natural feel that matches our simple and unpretentious menu. All takeaway boxes, cups and bags are recyclable. The furniture and craftsmanship have been provided by local artisans and tradesmen. Wherever we can we buy from local producers.
Many people in the community have been very supportive of our project, and our aim is to give back to the community a place where people can share good company, good food and a good laugh.
After working as a chef in Italy and London for about 10 years, Alan decided to go a different route. After relocating to Sandy he thought the town needed some "Italian TLC" and decided to give PECORO a shot. On his day off he likes browsing the internet for new ideas.
We have a fantastic, diverse and energetic team. The vast majority are Sandy based. Although for some hospitality is a way of supporting our studies, hobbies and other passions, we all have one thing in common: we do love a good pizza!
